For about two millennia the Cyclades (3200 BC – 1100 BC) were the center of the then-known world both from an economic point of view (mineral resources – energy forms of the time, maritime economy, trade, etc.) and from a cultural point of view (Arts, Letters).

At that time, the epicenter was Delos, the sacred island of Apollo, very close to Mykonos. Today Mykonos is the financial center of tourism, a growth model of the Mediterranean way of vacation, tourism, and well-being.

The goal of the organizers of the Mykonos Business Forum is to highlight the Cyclades and in this case Mykonos as an ambassador of a new model of well-being that is in line with the new technologies and the new blue economy, focusing on the sea and tourism (Shipping, Fishery, Transport, Energy, Tourism).
